Founded in 1912 in Bourges (Cher), Monin is a family-owned company that quickly distinguished itself in the creation of innovative flavoring solutions, such as syrups, concentrates, liqueurs, and fruit-based preparations or sauces. With a turnover of 600 million euros in 2023, Monin has become a major player in the flavored beverages industry.

Today, Monin generates more than 75% of its revenue internationally. This rapid and significant expansion demonstrates the company’s ability to meet global demands while maintaining a strong local presence.

Factories Spread Across the Globe

Monin aimed high right from the 1990s by internationalizing to get closer to its key markets. The first significant step was the construction of a factory in the United States in 1996. Currently, Monin operates six factories located in France, the United States, Malaysia, and China.

Two new factories are under construction in Brazil and India, which will soon bring the total number to eight factories. These new facilities will allow Monin to better supply neighboring markets and continue its international expansion.

Monin’s product range includes 170 references, each adapted to different cultures and regional tastes. For example, pumpkin is a product specifically designed for the American market, while cherry blossom is popular in Asia. This diversification allows Monin to precisely meet the expectations of its customers around the world.

This commitment to customization is also reflected in the 100 Monin Studios located worldwide, where beverage experts develop recipes tailored to local tastes for clients.
